Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at ffpgarage1@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 11 corporate place, unit 2, Landsborough, 4550

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at ffpgarage1@gmail.com.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at ffpgarage1@gmail.com.

1. Scope of Work and Quotations

  • Quotes: All quotes are estimates only and may be subject to change at anytime

  • Variations: If additional repairs, parts, or labour are required during the course of the job, we will seek your verbal or written authorisation before proceeding with the extra work.

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: We reserve the right to refuse to fit parts supplied by the customer. No warranty is provided by this workshop for the fitment, compatibility, or performance of customer-supplied goods.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full Payment: All invoices must be paid in full via cleared funds before the vehicle is released.

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required for custom modifications, specialized performance parts, or major component sourcing.

  • Storage Fees: Vehicles not collected within 7 days of notification of completion may incur a daily storage fee of $50

  • Lien: The workshop holds a general lien over the vehicle, meaning we may retain possession of the vehicle until all outstanding debts and storage fees are settled in full.

3. Custom Modifications and Compliance

  • Street Legality: It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that custom modifications comply with local Vehicle Standards and Australian Design Rules (ADR).

  • Engineering Reports: If a modification requires an engineering certificate for road legality, this is to be organised and paid for by the customer unless explicitly included in our written quote.

  • Manufacturer Warranty: The customer acknowledges that certain custom modifications may void the vehicle manufacturer's original warranty or aftermarket component warranty where applicable.

4. Warranty and Liability

  • Our Guarantee: We warrant that all services are performed with due care and skill using materials of acceptable quality.

  • Data Loss: The customer is responsible for backing up any electronic data (e.g., dashcam footage, GPS data, or custom ECU tuning profiles). We are not liable for data loss during repairs or diagnostic testing.

  • Vehicle Operation: You authorise our staff to operate the vehicle on public roads or at external testing facilities for the purposes of testing, diagnostic evaluation, and delivery.

5. Voiding of Guarantees (Third-Party Work)

  • Unauthorised Interference: Any warranty or guarantee provided by this workshop is immediately voided if the vehicle, or any specific part/system serviced by us, is subsequently worked on, modified, adjusted, or repaired by the customer or a third party without our prior written consent.

  • External Repair Costs: We will not be held liable for the cost of any repairs or "fixes" performed by another workshop or individual to rectify work originally completed by us, unless we have authorised those specific repairs and their costs in writing beforehand.

  • Misuse and Competition: Our guarantees do not cover damage or failure resulting from Operating the vehicle in a manner for which it was not designed, neglect, operating the vehicle while a fault is known, or participation in motor racing, track days, or competitive driving events.

6. Exclusion of Costs (Loss of Use and Recovery)

  • Loss of Use: We will not be held responsible for any costs, losses, or damages arising from the loss of use of the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of rental cars, taxis, rideshares, public transport, or any general inconvenience caused by repair or parts delays.

  • Vehicle Recovery: We are not responsible for towing or vehicle recovery costs. If a vehicle requires transport to or from our workshop—including for the purpose of a warranty assessment—the arrangement and cost of such transport is the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Indirect Loss: To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any consequential or indirect losses, such as loss of income, loss of profits, or missed business opportunities, resulting from the time the vehicle spends in our care or due to a mechanical failure.

7. Risk and Insurance

  • Customer Insurance: While we take all reasonable care, the vehicle remains at the owner's risk at all times. The customer must maintain their own comprehensive insurance policy.

  • Personal Property: Customers are advised to remove all valuables from the vehicle. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items left inside the vehicle.
